Couldn’t have come at a better time as I’m in Bangkok right now! Only been to soi cowboy so far but I’m really missing the pattaya beer bar places like soi 6, frog bar, etc. Doesn’t seem to be anything like that in bkk from your guide, right? These gogo’s in soi cowboy just feel more…clinical; more of a hussle, maybe, compared to skyfall with every place trying to rope you into sitting with 2 girls, 2 cocktail waitresses, mamasan…. takes the fun out of it. Tilac has been the only place not like this in soi cowboy. Hopefully Nana is better.

There’s no place in the World similar to Soi 6 Pattaya. Maybe try the beer bars on Soi Nana such as Morning Night, Stumble Inn, Big Dogs etc… but as always it depends on who is working and some nights you can be hassled for drinks. Thanks for your comment and enjoy your travels 🙂

    Hi

love your vids, and thanks for a great new feature on your site.

Visited BK mid this year and coming back again mid 2017 to do it all again (and more)

A question re GF Hotels, I’ve already booked The Continent, but you don’t list them, is this an error on my part ? (I can still cancel without penalty)

    Thanks again – S

Hey man, thanks for your comment. There are so many hotels in Bangkok it’s impossible to cover them all. I’m sure you’ll be fine at The Continent. Have a great trip 🙂

I usually get quoted around 1200 baht short time by Bkk street freelancers but the price depends on a lot of factors. In Pattaya it can be anything as low as 800 baht on beach road to 3-4k in the nightclubs. Always it ‘depends’ on loads of factors so your old prices probably hold true today. Thanks for your comment.

Hey bro, I love all your videos. Very great info. Keep up the great work!

I’ll be visiting bkk in the next few week and just wondering the freelance price? Or is it safer just to go to a gogo and pay the bar fine

Freelancers on the street are around 1200 baht for short time depending on how you look. Gogo bar girls are safer but more expensive. It’s up to you my friend…

1200 baht short time is what I get quoted for Nana freelancers usually, but it can be cheaper or more expensive. The price depends a lot on different factors such as your appearance. Thanks for your question.

Love the location of Nana Hotel but I have read more than 1 negative comment regarding cockroaches within the rooms…..you ever stayed there?
Also have you ever not worn protection when partaking? A mate has suggested to me the girls are certified regulary with health checks ?

The Nana Hotel is ‘the’ iconic place to stay in Bangkok for mongers and has been for many years. Check the recent tripadvisor reviews for complaints of cleanliness, it’s best to ignore the good and bad reviews and look for the average guests posts from a similar country as you (people always exaggerate negative reviews if they’ve had a bad experience).
It’s personal preference as to weather you should wear a hood or not. I always would with working girls as you’re literally playing Russian Roulette going in raw.

Thanks for using the link, it’s a cheap, clean hotel in a great location on Soi 7/1 right next to Nana BTS and Soi 11. Soi Cowboy and Soi 4 are both less than 10 mins walk away too. I’m very busy at the moment and will be taking January off so won’t be able to meet up unfortunately. Have a great trip! 🙂

Bangkok Beat closed – right after the 30 day mourning period concluded they closed – I believe it is now a Seafood Restaurant. You can catch up with Jon and some of the other staff at EQ on Nana, but not the girls (freelancers) as they have dispersed to many of the local freelance bars on Sukhumvit.

Bangkok Beat is currently being renovated and turned into New Wave pool bar. I think it was probably something to do with the new hotel next door that overlaps the premises and the noise late at night would have been unbearable for guests. Thanks for your comment 🙂

Found your videos on youtube. Nice video work. Informative and yet funny sometimes with your comments.

Like to ask what is the current rate of freelancers in Bangkok. Will be going in Jan 2017.

    Thanks

The price always depends on loads of things such as your appearance. It can be as cheap as 1000 baht in the Nana hotel car park or 2500 baht in Climax club or the Thermae bar. Have a great trip 🙂

Thanks for all the vids. finally getting some balls to make the trip in late February. Is a week in Bangkok and a week in Pattaya sufficient to experience both places alone? no wingman…Also do you recommend a place to stay under $30 in both cities?

Check my hotel guides. There are a few great Bangkok/Pattaya hotels under $30 in there. A week in each place is plenty to get a feel for things. No wingman is the best way to IMO. Have a great trip! 🙂

Hi, first of all your videos on YouTube are just awesome. Thanks you to share your experience with us and don’t stop 🙂 And secondly I”ll be Bangkok during New year. So my question is what is the favorite place(beautiful ladies, good ambiance and music) to celebrate New year in Bangkok even if the country is grieving ? Moreover I”ll study in Bangkok during 5 months, maybe we”ll have opportunity to meet. Thanks you in advance for a response.

    Great Vids on Youtube…
Question after you set up your girl from a bar…does she change or leaves in same outift?
also are you leaving together from another exit? I dont see anyone leaving the bars
    as couples etc…thanks

The girls change into normal clothes to leave the bar. Normally couples leave together at the front but quickly, that’s why you don’t usually see them. Thanks for your comment.

October is kind of the mid-season depending on where you go in Thailand. The high season is Dec-Feb and low is July-Sept with the rest being the mid season. Thanks for your comment.

I don’t know of any party like you want, you will have to seek them out yourself my friend. As of how to make the most of your 1 night in Bangkok, keep it simple is all I can say. All the best 🙂

Meter Taxi from the airport is easier as it takes you door to door and costs around 300 baht inc. a 50 baht airport surcharge.
You can take the cheaper airport rail link but you have to change stations at Makkasan to the MRT underground then heading to Sukhumvit station and is a bit of hassle if you have a lot of luggage. If you’re travelling light and don’t mind using the MRT then the Airport link could be best. Both ways are fine and its about personal preference (I’d use the taxi myself). Hope this helps 🙂

Love your videos! Going to Bangkok/Pattaya for the first time this June, your videos are a great way to see what it’s like! I was wondering though, most of the girls in the videos that’re just standing around in front of the gogo bars (looking super bored), are they coyotes or can they be barfined?

And I’ve heard iffy things about using freelancing girls as opposed to ones from the bars. (namely STDs or the potential for them to be ladyboys) What is your opinion?
