Young man last week you spent a night in the Orchid hotel. As I go to Patong myself and stay in the chambre across from the Gig hotel which I know is your favourite, I asked my thai lady friend to check out the prices of the Orchid for to stay one month there. She went inside and asked a young lady of the price to stay there in May. However after her giving the prices of the stay I found it very confusing of what you said in your blog. The pices given to her waste 1000 baht for the standed room per night and 1500 baut for the next size of room and 1800 baut for the next room and I think the one on your video 2000 baut respectively. Please can you explain this to me. R. Marshall.

For shorter stays you must use agoda and book online for the best rates at Orchid Resortel. If you want a monthly rate then visit/phone yourself, speak to a manager and negotiate, there is usually always wiggle room especially in May. Thanks for your comment Ronald.

I’am from India and planning to visit Phuket in February 2017 for around 06 nights. I’am planning to book a Deluxe King Room with Lub D Phuket, Patong for around 2200baht with breakfast and free access to Joiners. Do you think it’s a good deal?
    Regards,

      Hey Rahul,

Seems fine, this hotel is very highly rated with excellent facilities and is probably going in recommended list when I update it.

I just phoned them and they confirmed they are guest friendly too as you said.

Have a great trip my friend 🙂

Hi, great blog btw.. im staying at bauman residence end of this month.. any comments? On another note, is it better to barfine the girls or look them up at the nightclubs?

Bauman Residence is quite far away from Bangla Road, meaning you’ll have a long walk or have to use the local transport (mototaxi / tuk tuks). As for the girls, it’s all about your personal preference. Barfining ladies from the beer and gogo bars is more expensive, but less can go wrong. Nightclub freelancers are cheaper but you need to use common sense when taking them back to your hotel. Have a great trip 🙂

Hi Buddy, I’am a first time traveler from India and is planning to visit Patong in the last week of March for around 4/5 days. I would be travelling alone and is planning to book Hacienda Resort which is near c&n hotel near Bangla Street and as per the Tripadvisor reviews its a cheap and best accomodation with free access to joiners/girl friendly. Do you think its safe to travel alone being a first time traveler out of India and how good/safe is the hotel? What would you recommend? I would really appreciate your suggestion. Thanks!!! – Raj

Hey man, I prefer the Adonis to the Hacienda but it’s all personal preference. Here’s my hotel guide for Patong for more info: http://bangkok112.com/patong-best-hotels-15-40-night/ Patong is safe for a solo traveller as long as you use common sense eg. Don’t get too drunk on the first night, only carry money that you will spend for a night etc… Also, I would advise not to take any ladyboy freelancers from Bangla Road back to your hotel as a subscriber recently was robbed by one. Have a great trip 🙂
